Three Top Fave Email Builders

Three Top Fave Email Builders

Email marketing is one of the most important aspects of any small business or solopreneur. It can be used to connect with customers, cultivate relationships, and promote your products or services. Most of all it is an integral part of helping you convert leads and build your email list. But many entrepreneurs don’t take advantage of email marketing because they don’t know how to get started. In this blog post, we’re going to give you 3 great email template builder resources to help you begin.

Email template builders are exactly that…templates that have been configured to adhere to email protocols.

They usually have

  • a type of easy to use drag and drop editor
  • provide free ready-made templates
  • offer advanced elements like unsubscribe buttons and company information modules
  • allow for easy media organization

Any good builder will allow you to customize your template to keep in line with your company branding, so let’s get into our favorites

FREE up to 2,000 users, $15 per month thereafter
Mailchimp is a great campaign builder with various DIY templates and modules. The great thing about Mailchimp –  it’s FREE for up to 2,000 contacts. Meaning if your email list is less than 2,000 people you can build, send, and collect emails for absolutely free! Another great aspect of MailChimp is that it can easily help you build a form to collect email addresses from your clients and even tag them with their specific service or product preferences and last but not least you can easily integrate this form into your website. So when a user visits your site and they are prompted to enter their email address, it would automatically go right to your MailChimp list. When you are ready to send your email campaign, you would be selecting from the list you have gathered.

You can schedule your email to go out at a specific time to coordinate with sales or events and also get tracking information once you have sent your email campaign out. You will be able to see what areas or stories generated more clicks – thereby giving you insight as to what your audience is interested in.

Constant Contact

60 Day Trial, $20 per month
This email builder is another friendly tool for any small business beginning their email campaign journey and who wants to create newsletters with no mess or fuss. Constant Contact also provides email templates that you can easily select and customize to your business brand. With Constant Contact, you get a 60-day trial, and then its paid plan starts at $20 per month. Similar features to MailChimp, however as mentioned MailChimp allows you to build a list of up to 2,000 users before charging a monthly fee. This also allows tracking information and the ability to set up forms to build your list as well as allowing the form to be embedded in your site.

Our final go to software is

15 day Free Trial, $15 per month

Bee is another great builder with a drag and drop editor. It quickly lets you build your e-newsletter with some easy ready-made templates. The free version only allows you to use the very basic email templates and for the pro (paid) version, there is a wide selection of great-looking templates. Bee is also set up with a responsive tester so you can see what your e campaign will look like on mobile devices, however you will need to still use an email service provider (ESP) like Constant Contact or MailChimp as Bee does not allow you to build/store email lists. Once you have completed your email design it uses connectors to send your design to your ESP of choice and it integrates with all the major ones.
